Dr. Maja Panic has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2007 and completed her ECFVG certification in 2025. She is passionate about helping animals feel better while giving their families the information and support they need to make confident decisions about their care.
Her professional interests include preventive and diagnostic medicine, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and emergency and critical care. She particularly enjoys managing endocrine, gastrointestinal, kidney, and urinary conditions and also has experience caring for rabbits. Dr. Panic values the variety of cases she sees at Mohnacky and the opportunity to continually strengthen her clinical and surgical skills.
Dr. Panic believes veterinary care should balance each pet’s medical needs with the individual circumstances of the family who loves them. She takes time to explain recommendations, prioritize the most important steps, and offer alternatives whenever possible. Outside of veterinary medicine, she is adventurous by nature and enjoys skydiving, open-ocean swimming, exploring the outdoors, and finding new ways to challenge herself.
