I have had a lifelong passion for working with animals, which led me to begin my career in the veterinary field in 2015. Joining the MAHE team has been a highly rewarding experience, providing me with ongoing opportunities to learn and grow while contributing to exceptional patient care. I genuinely enjoy coming to work each day and value the chance to provide comfort and compassion to the pets entrusted to our care. With customer service experience dating back to 2010, I am dedicated to supporting both clients and their pets with professionalism and empathy. Outside of work, I enjoy attending live music events—particularly country concerts—and spending time with friends. I share my home with my own beloved pet, Grayson, whom I adopted from a client.

Our Veterinary Technicians

Jazmin, RVT

Jazmin, RVT

Jazmin might be new to San Diego County, but she is no stranger to Southern California,

reigning in from our far off neighbor of Orange County. She graduated with honors from Platt College and excels in Dentistry and Internal Medicine. Jazmin also spent many years as a Medical Oncology technician, where she was able to truly learn the love and compassion we can have in this career.
When Jazmin isn’t being our true queen of dental extractions, you can find her baking one of her many delicious vegan treats or hiking the many trails with her significant other and her sweet mutt Bubba.

Krystine, RVT

Krystine, RVT

Krystine, a California native from Lancaster, has been an animal lover since she was a small child. So it was no surprise that she fell in love with Vet Med while volunteering as a kennel assistant in 2010 at the American Naples Veterinary Clinic while she was serving her last tour in the US Navy in Naples, Italy. Shortly from there, she attended Pima Medical Institute- Chula Vista, graduating with honors and a Directors Award as well as her AS for veterinary medicine, becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. She specializes in emergency, dermatology, and general practice surgery, giving credit to her many years in a well renowned specialty and emergency hospital in San Diego. She does enjoy the connections she makes with the families and pets she meets along her journey in her career.

Krystine enjoys quiet evenings in her sleepy town of Ramona with their bundle of fur kids. She’s a vintage enthusiast who enjoys volunteering or fundraising for pets and animals that need that loud voice to speak up for them. She’s never met a cat she doesn’t like and is always ready for a challenge.

Savannah, RVT – Lead

Savannah, RVT – Lead

With a lifelong passion for animals and a strong desire to work in the medical field, I found my calling as a Registered Veterinary Technician. In my role at MAHE, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and support for our furry friends, ensuring they receive the highest quality of veterinary services.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my two dogs, Quill and Gamora, as well as my cat, Drax. I also have a fascination for reptiles and arachnids, which is why my household includes several geckos and a tarantula! This diverse array of pets fuels my enthusiasm for animal care and enriches my life.

Combining my love for animals with my commitment to their health has been a rewarding journey, and I am excited to continue making a positive impact in the lives of pets and their families.

Gabriel – Lead

Gabriel – Lead

I have always had an attachment for animals. I’d consider myself a dog person, but the feline friends are just as adorable. There’s always been a dog in the household. I was born in Santa Clara, California and raised in San Diego. Working for MAHE is not only fruitful but also an absolute honor. Outside of work you will catch me either at the beach or on a Brazilian Jiu-jistu mat.

My parents are both RN’s which ignited my passion to join the medical field myself. That is why I pursued my masters degree in biomedical engineering from UCSD. With COVID-19 rampant, that field is currently focused on rapid testing, which is not the ideal route for me. I decided to pivot and start working with animals. With my medical background and my passion for furbabies, MAHE is the purrrfect fit for me.

Stephanie

Stephanie

Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am an exam room assistant here at the Escondido location. I was born and raised in Southern California and I recently graduated from UCSD with a bachelor’s degree in human biology. After graduating, I was looking for a perfect fit for my first job out of college. I have always had a love for animals and I have my own fur baby at home. Her name is Kiwi, a spunky kitty who I rescued in 2015. I can easily say I found my perfect fit here at Mohnacky, where my new found love for animal care thrives. Mohnacky is truly a welcoming, loving place and I hope you find your perfect fit here too!

Our Customer Service Representatives

Aliya

Aliya

Hello! My name is Aliya. I was born in Escondido and have lived in Valley Center for most of my life. Like many people in this field, my passion for working with animals began at a very young age and has only grown stronger over time. I recently graduated from California State University, Chico with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, and my next goal is to attend veterinary school to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian. MAHE is my first job after graduating college, and it truly feels like the perfect fit. The environment is welcoming, supportive and full of compassion—for both fur babies and their humans—which makes it incredibly rewarding to be a part of the team. Outside of work, I love spending time with my own fur babies: my dog Buddy, who I’ve had for almost 11 years, and my brand-new kitty, Kia. I also enjoy watching sports, taking trips to the desert, listening to music, and going on little adventures whenever I get the chance!

Megan – Lead

Hi, I’m Megan! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember—growing up, my life was full of pets of all kinds, from dogs and cats to horses and goats. Being around them taught me early on how much joy, love, and chaos animals can bring, and it’s what inspired me to work in the veterinary field.

Now, I’m the Lead Client Service Representative at MAHE, where I’ve been helping pets and their families for about a year and a half. I love being the first friendly face or voice you meet, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and making sure every visit is smooth and stress-free. There’s nothing better than helping pets feel safe while their families feel supported.

At home, life is never quiet—I’m a mom to three amazing boys and the “human” to three lively pets: Honey, Nezuko, and Valkyrja. When I’m not at the hospital, you can usually find me playing video games with my kids while the girls supervise, working on my book I hope to publish one day, experimenting with new recipes, or curled up with a good book, movie or anime. Animals and family are at the heart of everything I do, and I feel so lucky to get to combine both every day in my work.

Michele

Veterinary CSR, married mom of two boys, and lifelong animal lover. I’m passionate about supporting clients and their pets, and outside of work you’ll find me hiking, exploring abandoned urban spaces, reading psychological thrillers and memoirs, or spending time with horses and my big furry baby Buddy.
